The aftermath of Sunday’s (30 Nov, refer to previous post) outing. After all that talk about her, my mind decided to play tricks with me, and injected her into my dream. It wasn’t a grand, myopic, inescapable whirlpool of emotions, but something more… calm, I suppose, as if the tensions that should have been [...] November 30, the Eve of… December. Thought I was going to blurt out some delightful event? Not that I really celebrate anything, for that matter. Anyway, Matt came back about a week ago, but this was the first time we went out together since then, as he’d been off to Singapore for a church [...] I stood outside the college as the evening sun warmed my numb body. It’s warmth didn’t help the pain in my feet. Walking forward, backwards, the slightest movements of the muscles in my feet dragged forth a jolt of pain in my defenseless ankles. Damnable Italian shoes. I suppose Italian men’s ankles are right [...] I do believe that I am cursed. Nothing that could cause deaths of people around me, or a sudden failure of the harvest.
